Bonnie Latino's Your Gift To Me: Free Download on July 4th
Your Gift to Me, a military love story co-authored by long-time Gulf Shores Travel Guide friend, Bonnie Bartel Latino will be free for download in eBook format on July 4th. A former columnist for Stars and Stripes newspaper in Europe, Bonnie was an Air Force wife of 30 years. For the past eight years, she has been a freelance correspondent for the Mobile (AL) Press-Register Living Arts book page.
Set primarily in Hawaii, the novel also features scenes from our area--the Flora-Bama and Hurlburt Field, Florida. Your Gift to Me, which Bonnie co-authored with New Jersey writer, Bob Vale, shares the same subtle, but central, theme of the transformative powers of love and laughter to triumph over grief, found in Top Gun and Steel Magnolias.
A dozen high-ranking military officers, fighter pilots, ministers, and several award-winning authors have endorsed the military themed novel.
