Fight Club

Fight Club was Chuck Palahniuk's first book. It was written in 1996, and is (in my opinion) a great satirical novel. At first it seems to be about a group of people, who get together and fight, to blow off steam, and to feel good about themselves. But the club evolves into a terrorist group. And the final plot twist is just amazing, but I'm not going to tell it here.

I would recommend this book if you want to read the book behind the movie (which was the best book-based movie I have seen, ever.), or if you like Chuck Palahniuk's work but haven't read it yet. I will warn you however, it does get a bit creepy and disturbing at times.
