Florida Keys So Far Oil Free

It did not impact our vacation. We were in the Keys in early June. We stayed on Key West in a rented house for a week. We were worried when the oil spill happened but were not sure how long it might take to reach the Keys. Key West was beautiful and no oil was in sight, but they were very worried that eventually it will reach there. Some people, such as shop and hotel managers, said already they are noticing less tourism there as people think the oil is already there or will be there by their vacation.
As I said, our vacation was not impacted, but if we were traveling in a few more months, like August or September, I would consider not traveling. It is just such a tragedy. I hope any tropical storms/hurricanes will not further spread the oil.
