Gulf Shores Fishing Story

My Gulf Shores fishing trip started one early Sunday morning with my brother, who had just got back from Iraq, and some of our friends. We had made motel reservations on the Gulf and had rented a boat for the whole afternoon.
We cruised out to deep water and dropped our lines in the water. The lines had been in the water no longer than a couple of minutes and than fish started biting. We caught a wide variety of fish, such as white snapper, red snapper and an occasional triggerfish.
After about 30 minutes, we had caught tons of bait and several good fish for dinner. We circled around the same fishing grounds for another 45 minutes and went out to even deeper water. We also had good luck out in the deeper water. We caught more snapper, white snapper, and vermillion snapper.
Just as I turned my head, I heard heard my brother yell "help me." I knew he had hooked a huge grouper. It was funny because before the trip started we were joking about catching a giant grouper, but we thought it would never happen. He slowly reeled the fish in, and finally a huge grouper came to the surface. It took about 25 minutes to reel this giant fish in, but my brother did a great job. I knew that we were gonna be eating good that night.
The trip was awesome. I can't wait to go back next year.
