Gulf Shores Shopping

There are over 120 outlet stores in the Tanger Outlet Center located in Foley, Alabama. Tanger is an outdoor mall. This place can keep a serious shopper busy for awhile, so it's a good "rainy day" spot or a good place to take a break from the beach during the hottest part of the day during the summer. The stores are open from 9AM to 9PM except for Sundays, when they are open from 11AM until 6PM.

The stores at the outlet center are too numerous to detail. Some of the major stores are Coach, Lane Bryant, Aeropostale, Polo Ralph Lauren, Seiko and Old Navy. The deals can really be incredible and certainly worth the trip for the savings.

• San Roc Cay - Orange Beach

The many shops at San Roc Cay have a variety of offerings for their shoppers. The Blue Lagoon Boutique has swimwear that is not only functional but fashionable. If you love chocolate, you simply must stop by the Chocolate Turtle for a treat. They have a wide variety of delectable items that will surely make your taste buds say Wow! Dunia Exotica is a wonderful boutique that carries fashion jewelry, bags, dresses and other items. There are so many stores to visit in San Roc Cay that you are sure to find something you will love.

This shopping center is near Perdido Pass directly on the water, so you can take a break on the water's edge and watch the watercraft cruise by. You can even book a deep sea fishing trip at the marina.

• Old Time Pottery - Gulf Shores

There is a wonderful Old Time Pottery store located in Gulf Shores on Highway 59 (Gulf Shores Parkway).

This is a very big store. They carry a wide variety of home decorating items, much of it "beach themed," that will definitely add pizazz to your home, and most of it is "outlet" priced. Old Time Pottery is very popular with condo and beach home owners owners who want to save money decorating their properties.

• Sawgrass Landing - Gulf Shores

Sawgrass Landing has several interesting and unique shops, mostly boutique-type. There is one very popular restaurant located here-- the Oyster House. If you want to dine at the Oyster House during the busiest times, drop in and put your name on the list. They will give you a beeper, so you can go shopping before your "beep." Sawgrass Landing is located within walking distance to the beach and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo.

• Pelican Place at Craft Farms

The Pelican Place at Craft Farms is located on Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Small shops and major chain stores like Bed, Bath & Beyond and Target are located in this center.

A theater with 14 screens, Starbucks and Books-a-Million are other popular attractions.

• The Wharf - Orange Beach

The Wharf is located on the Intracoastal Canal. It has numerous great stores and excellent eateries that will please any visitor’s taste buds. Several restaurants are located directly on the water. During concert season, nationally known acts play at the Amphitheatre. Ride the Southeast's tallest ferris wheel at the Wharf or enjoy a movie at the Rave Theater.

• The Shoppes at Palm Point - Orange Beach

The Shoppes at Palm Point is in a beautiful setting directly across the street from a pristine, white sand beach. There is a Publix grocery store as well as several other shops and restaurants.

There are so many places to shop while vacationing on the Alabama Gulf Coast. The various shops will keep the shopper moving from store to store. There are many unique and interesting shops to stroll through and you will surely find some really great items in the area. Gulf Shores shopping!
