Hemingway's Island Grill

by Barbara
(Georgia)

Every time we go to Gulf Breeze, my husband and I are both thinking the same thing- when are we going to Hemingway's Island Grill????

They have the absolute best food in the area! They are appropriate for adults on a date, or families with small children. Everyone is welcome and wanted! The atmosphere there is the perfect touch of casual meets sophisticated. You could go in wearing shorts and flip flops, or a nice dress.

They have the most amazing appetizers, like the Firecracker Shrimp. It's spicy enough to know it's spicy, but it won't burn you up.

They also have a full bar equipped with all the fixings for your favorite drinks. It's so relaxing after a long day in the sun on the beach to stop in at Hemingway's and get a Long Island Iced Tea or an Apple Martini.

The main courses are also to die for! They have amazing lobster, shrimp, and even mahi-mahi! The steak there is incredible as well. For the picky little ones they have hamburgers and chicken tenders. Everyone is happy at Hemingway's!

If you haven't already filled up on drinks, appetizers, and the main course, then you just have to have dessert. They make some great key lime pie, cheesecake, and for those that have a bigger sweet tooth, molten brownies topped with ice cream! My husband and I always get the molten brownie to share and we always fight over the last bite- it's THAT good!

My husband and I will continue going to Hemingway's Island Grill for many, many years to come!
