King Neptune's - Gulf Shores

You Think You're Powerful? On my spring break, an entire group of college kids and myself went down to Alabama. None of us had been there for vacation, and we had no idea as to where to eat on our first night there. We had asked some local earlier that day, while we were on the beach. They mentioned King Neptune's.
We decided to give it a try. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated within ten minutes. We were then greeted quickly by our server who took our drink orders, and we also ordered our appetizers. All of this was brought out to us quickly, surprisingly.
The appetizers were extremely delicious! Next, we ordered our platters. When they were brought to our tables, we were overwhelmed with the amount of food there was. The platters were not expensive at all, especially for the size of the platter. But once again, the platters were as delicious, if not more, than the appetizers.
None of us knew if we were going to be able to eat a dessert at this point. The majority of us wanted to, but we knew everyone couldn't. We did end up ordering a form of cheesecake they offered. It was very good.
All together, the food at King Neptune's was above was we all expected. The food was not expensive, and well worth it. I would recommend it to anyone who lives in the area, or is there on vacation.
