Lulu's is the best!

Lulu's is my favorite Alabama Gulf Coast Restaurant. It is located on the Intracoastal Waterway. And I had no idea that Jimmy Buffet’s sister owns it! Lulu's menu is fantastic. The deep-fried oysters and homemade onion rings are my absolute favorite. But you can’t go wrong no matter what you order off of the menu. Lulu's even has their own draft beer, and it’s very tasty. It’s called Crazy Sista Honey Ale because it is brewed using honey that is local to the area. I was told that they eventually plan to bottle the beer so customers can take their special brew home with them. I’m sure that will be a huge hit!

There is live music every night of the week, so there’s never a dull moment no matter when you stop by. The restaurant has an open air feel because it has large garage-style doors that they open so customers can enjoy the gorgeous Alabama weather. Customers can also watch the boats pass by in the waterway. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere couldn’t be better. It’s so much fun!

They also have a merchandise shop, which is the perfect place to pick up souvenirs for people back home. The shop has lots of unique items that you can’t find elsewhere including art from local artists. I purchased a painting when I was there. I look forward to going back to LuLu’s on my next trip to the Gulf Coast.
