Mad Kestrel by Misty Massey

by Sandra
(Myrtle Beach, SC, USA)

Tucked up in a beach chair, with the waves crashing in your ears and the sea breezes in your face, what could be better than a good pirate story? Toss in a bit of magic, a bit of romance and a killer strong female character, and you’ve got the perfect beach book in Misty Massey’s “Mad Kestrel.” Massey has an obvious love of writing and her characters are so vivid, they practically leap off the page. Even though I’ve read it once, it’s a sure thing that it’ll go in my tote for my next beach trip. Read up! Savvy?
