Papa's Pizza!

by Annabelle Johnson
(Mobile, Alabama )

Not in the Mood for Seafood?

I love seafood as much as the next person, but living in the Gulf Shores area, I sometime feel like a change. Papa's Pizza at Pelican Place has wonderful Italian food that is a perfect way to mix things up. They have some of the best pizza that I've ever tried.

The selection of pizzas at Papa's is incredible. I especially like their celebrity themed pizzas. It makes their menu fun to read, and it's a really fun touch. Some of my favorite pizzas there are the Joe Pesci, which combines artichokes, sundried tomatoes, and feta cheese, and the Jack Johnson, which pairs the traditional ham and pineapple combo with almonds.

Papa's Pizza at Pelican Place offers more than just pizza too. They make a great baked spaghetti and a very tasty lasagna. I also really enjoy their subs. The Papa's Deluxe is probably my favorite. If you're dieting, you don't need to worry. Their salads are very yummy too, especially their Greek salad. It isn't bland like salads at pizza places very often are.

I have always had good experiences with service at Papa's. It is nothing special, but the staff is always very friendly and very polite. The atmosphere is very nice. They have a sort of cute, modern look that I wouldn't expect from a pizza place. It makes the dining experience a little more interesting.

If you're sick of seafood too, you should definitely check Papa's Pizza out. They have many delicious pizza free options on your menu. The pizza will be some of the best you've ever had!
