Pelican Place

My family and I take a trip down to Gulf Shores Alabama every couple of years. My Grandparents actually own a condo not far from the shore. We are originally from up North but, enjoy the Southern hospitality of Alabama.

We love everything from the clay dirt roads to the boiled peanuts! We usually try to visit the zoo for some animal adventures. We also like to enjoy an evening t at the Cobb Theatre. But our favorite place to stop, is Pelican Place. We enjoy having all of our favorite stores in one small section. Pelican Place is really family oriented because anyone can find something they like in one of the many stores they have.

The dining is amazing also! Enjoy anything from Subway to a Japanese Steakhouse. We also can't help but stop at the smoothie place on our way home! Before leaving Gulf Shores, we always go back to the the Gulf one last time. It is usually where vacation begins and where it ends. Why drive so far south to not spend most or our time on the beach? Mine and my mother's vacation weakness is seashell hunting.

It's always great to have a change of scenery once in a while!
