Perdido Beach Resort
Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico near Perdido Pass. The location is just across Perdido Beach Boulevard from San Roc Cay Marina. San Roc Cay offers a wide variety of dining and shopping options. If you like deep sea fishing, or want to see if you like it, having a marina nearby is nice. Venturing off the premises for dining is optional. Cafe Palm Breeze offers seafood and steak dishes and a full service breakfast buffet. Poolside, Half Shell Grill makes it easy to enjoy a very good reasonably priced meal while enjoying the sea breeze. For a special occasion or vacation treat, Voyagers is an upscale dining experience you might remember for awhile. On Fridays and Saturdays, there's even a Pizzeria & Ice Cream Shoppe at the resort.
One of the best things about the Perdido Beach resort is the landscaping. It makes a great backdrop for photos, and doesn't cost anything extra. In fact, you don't have to spend a penny at the resort to enjoy all the palms, banana trees, African iris, and oleanders. The pools are large and there is plenty of room to relax at poolside. During cool or rainy weather there is a large heated indoor pool. The lobby is spacious with nice, comfortable furniture. A pianist entertains each evening. Often the lobby is full of people on break from a social or business gathering in one of the many meeting rooms on the property. The resort has 9,000 square feet of exhibition space. The total meeting area can accommodate up to 1,000 people. The two towers of the resort hold 346 rooms and suites, with either pool or beach views. All rooms have balconies. Other amenities include four lighted tennis courts, the Perdido Beach Health Club, jacuzzis, free self parking, and free valet parking. The resort is nicely located on the Gulf of Mexico. There is plenty of room to spread your beach towels or set up your tent. If you want more room just walk down towards the rock jetties. Just on the other site of the jetties is Perdido Pass. Pleasurable time can be spent relaxing on one of the big rocks and watching the boats. If you like to fish, the jetties are a good place. Some fish that are caught there are in big numbers are bluefish, flounder, white trout, sheepshead. Speckled trout, pompano, and redfish also bite good on occasion.
