 The Phoenix West coming from Gulf Shores.  The Phoenix is attempting to establish sea oats to build up sand dunes. Two or three years without an bad storms might build them up, but it only takes one bad to wash them away.  Part of the pool area.  The Phoenix West from the beach.  If you haven't totally worn yourself out at the pools and beach, the complex has a nice fitness center.  Indoor pool and hot tubs.  By far the most popular amenity at the Phoenix West is the lazy river. Some owners and guests spend more time there than they do the beach. This photo was taken from our second story condo.
