The Phoenix X - A Great Location for a Beach Vacation

The Phoenix X is very popular with visitors to the Alabama Gulf Coast. It is just one of the many Phoenix properties in Orange Beach, but its location gives an edge over the others.

It's next door neighbor is the legendary Flora-Bama Lounge and Package. Many visitors don't consider a trip to the coast complete without a visit to the FloraBama, and some like to spend more time there than the beach.Phoenix X

Another neighbor is the Waffle House across the street from the Flora-Bama. It might seem odd to call the Waffle House a drawing point, but it is. I don't think anybody has ever come up with an exact number of dining establishments on Pleasure Island, but it is safe to say dozens upon dozens, yet only a small number of them open for breakfast. The Waffle House is always open for breakfast. Get restless in the middle of the night and walk across the street (that is, if you don't want to walk back over to the Flora-Bama) and have a waffle and coffee. I have done that more times that I could ever remember.

Another nice thing about the location is the beach. The beaches of Perdido Key, Florida, are not quite as crowded as most of those in Orange Beach, simply because there are less high-density condo developments. Of course, the Phoenix X is not located in Perdido Beach; it sits almost on the Florida line. Thousands of beach tourists have had their pictures taken on the line, one step in 'Bama one in Florida.

This complex has a spacious lobby which leads to the pools, both indoor and outdoor. Three hot tubs are adjacent to the indoor pools.

Most of the parking is covered and if it is not peak season (or you are lucky), it is possible to park pretty close to your rental condo.

Like all of the Phoenix Properties, all condo units have patios facing the Gulf of Mexico.

Other amenities include a racquetball court, a lighted tennis court, a fitness room and barbeque grills.
