Summer Sisters by Judy Blume

Summer Sisters by Judy Blume is the perfect beach read. Much of the book is set on an island during summer vacations, so reading it on a beach in the summertime is really the perfect atmosphere. The characters were great and there are plenty of moments to make you laugh and to make you cry. I used to read Judy Blume books as a kid, but this is definitely an adult novel. I really recommend it!
