The Hangout - Gulf Shores

The Greatest Restaurant Experience During the summer of 2009, I traveled to Orange Beach, Alabama. This trip was for a summer camp with the Student Life organization. I took this trip with fifty other people.
On our last night in town, we decided to go to The Hangout in the Gulf Shores. We were all very pleased with how well the food tasted. Also, we did not have to wait a substantial amount of time for all of our food to be brought to us. Even though the majority of us were teenagers, we loved the fact that there was an area just full of bubbles!
The humongous fan was pretty awesome, and the little shops were cool too. The day we went it was raining, so there was not a show at the "Saloon". Also, this restaurant is right on the beach, which was fun. Food was flying everywhere and people were yelling randomly. We even had a nice conservation with a clown on stilts.
It was our youth pastor's birthday, so we bought him presents and gave them to him at the restaurant. At that moment, the entire youth group sang "Happy Birthday" to him and it was a success. We will never again have to opportunity to sing "Happy Birthday" to our youth minister in a Gulf Shores restaurant due to the fact we live in Tennessee. Through the whole week we spent together in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, we experienced so many unforgettable moments. Our highlight of that week was definitely eating at The Hangout. We all loved that place so much, and we will never forget the amazing food we ate there and the great memories we made at that restaurant.
We had so much fun!
