The Oil Spill: Plans Schmans

I refuse to let a little oil on the beach ruin my vacation! When I go on vacation, I am going away from home and into another part of the world where I don't have to eat at the same places, shop at the same stores, and wear the same clothes.

Coastal destinations have made a determined effort to attract tourist dollars by making the things to do on the on shore just a little bit better than at home, so if I am on the coast and the beach is no longer an option because BP blew it, I am not out of luck.

While I am all for capping the spill and cleaning the shore as soon as possible, I see no reason why I can't visit my favorite shore destinations for the other forms of fun that they have always offered.
